Safety, Consolidation and Conditioning for public and ecotourism use of the Lucía Mine. Álava.

Recovery and safety of the old asphalt mine “Mina Lucía” in Atauri (Álava), for the museumisation and conditioning for tourist visits.

Conditioning of the external accesses to the mine: clearing, reconstruction and cleaning of roads and slopes, fencing and channelling of connections.

Construction of a new 37m long emergency gallery in small section 7.1m² (3m x 2.5m) using mechanical means. Supporting with mesh and gunite, with placement of metal trusses at both ends.

Renovation of existing galleries, lowering of the level of the interior floor in the visitable area and reinforcement of unstable areas by means of wooden shoring.

Installation of interior lighting, decorations and audiovisual accessories for visitors.
